As every year, you are waiting for the end of summer when the cycling fairs take place. You haven’t missed one as they are a unique opportunity to get to know and test all the latest materials, bikes, clothing and accessories.

You have spent years waiting for Friedrichshafen, Verona, Milan and Padua to get a preview of everything that shortly after will be discussed by the cycling magazines.

In short, you don’t want to miss these great exhibitions, which have been reduced in number over the years.

A new format of cycling fairs

Rimini this year offers you a new and interesting opportunity.

The first eagerly awaited edition of the Italian Bike Festival, the event that from Friday, 31 August to Sunday, 2 September will bring you all the best of the cycling industry in the gardens of Parco Fellini.
Organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini, this open-air fair will be completely free for all those who want to visit it. Over 120 companies from the sector will exhibit and present the novelties of 2019 in bicycles, accessories, clothing and sport nutrition.

Space for everybody

With over 25,000 square meters of exhibition space, Rimini will be a great happening. In addition to the exhibition area, there will be a track of about a kilometer to test road bikes and urban bikes.

Lovers of fat wheels can test the off-road bikes in an area of 3,600 square meters. The exhibition village will be the central focus of this event that will also involve the whole surrounding area. Three longer mileage routes will be reserved for other materials.

Three different routes to test materials

The Urban path is a ring of about 11 km with departure from and arrival at the Fellini park. This route will take you around the city, so that you have the opportunity to visit the most interesting historical sights.

The Road route instead follows the slopes of the Rimini hills for a 24 km loop already used by various road cycling races and ideal for checking the performance level of the new products on display.

The MTB route is instead dedicated to off-road lovers and follows the entire Rimini seafront up to the top of the Covignano hill.

Races and triathlon

The event will also give space to all cycling enthusiasts with a competitive vocation.

On September 1, fixed gear athletes from all over Italy and abroad will gather for the first edition of the Criterium "Grand Prix Amarcord". In this race, a free subscription of Square2Go Bikevo, the Bikevo insurance for cyclist, will be offered to all participants, so that they can compete at full speed and without worries.

Fun guaranteed at the Favorite Gold Sprint Race, open to all those who want to challenge each other in a 15 second fire sprint.

There will also be a challenge for the little ones with the IBF Junior Trophy.

Also triathlon will find ample space in this fair. For the first time there will be a test area for triathlon products, together with a space for testing wetsuits and technical clothing, directly at the sea.
